INDIAN ROCK PYTHON
(Python molurus)

Distribution:- Pakistan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Bangladesh
Comments:- Usually grows to around 10 ft (3 metres) but believed to grow to about 19ft (5.7 metres).


The Indian python is usually lighter colour than the Burmese Python which used to be classed as a subspecies (Python molurus bivittatus) but has been elevated to a full species (Python bivittatus.)
